Independence Day Events for American Expats


You can also enjoy the fourth of July celebrations here in London!

4th July

The Duke's Head Putney Pub will be hosting an Independence Day Dinner for Fourth of July celebrations. If you are an American who will not be celebrating in the United States or someone looking to explore food, this is the perfect dinner for you. This dinner is £40 per person. The evening will include a welcome drink and a 3 course meal paired with 3 high-end wines. The dinner is from 7:30 PM-9:30 PM.

4th July

This rib-eating competition has been going on for over 20 years. The BBQ- Big Easy hosts a 4th of July event featuring 10 of the hungriest guys and gals to compete amongst each other for a £100 pound Big Easy voucher. The person who eats the most ribs in 30 minutes wins. The event will start at 6 PM. There will be red, blue, & white cocktails on offer and party that will continue until closing. The 4th of July party will have live bands, happy hour, and more.

4th July

This free event will celebrate the 4th of July with Chicago pizza and US ciders. The event will be from 4:00- 9:00 PM. Usually this taproom has ciders from all over the UK, oven-baked pizzas and cheese boards. If you cannot attend this event and interested in cider making, they have yearly tours you can join.

Nightclub: Roadhouse

4th July

This Jim Beam sponsored 4th of July party will be at the Roadhouse nightclub. Roadhouse is going all out with their American decorations, drinks, food, beer pong, and more. Roadhouse will have live music by The Tide playing American classics and new hits. The happy hour will run from 5:30 PM- 10:00 PM featuring 2-for-1 cocktails and beers, £10 bottle wines, and £25 bottle of Prosecco. There is a free entry before 12 AM.


Street Feast's Shoreditch market will be hosting the ultimate fourth of July party with French's and Frank's Redhot. There will be music featuring American classic. Dinerama will have a star-spangled line-up of street food vendors. Besides the menu's getting messy, they will have a RedHot wing eating competition and RedHot cheerleaders cheering you on. There will be old school backyard games, cornhole, beer pong, and football table. The bars will turn up the heat with a tequila RedHot- rocks and spiked Frank's Limeade punch. Tickets are starting at £12. The ticket will include a free bottle of Goose Island American Pale Ale on entry. The event will occur from 5:00 PM- 11:00 PM.
