October half term, school is off: what do I do with the kids?
Most museums offer special events for familes during half term, in addition to their permanet collections. Not to be missed: Science Museum, the Samsung Digital Discovery Centre at the British Museum and the London Transport Museum.
Many events for children during half term: interactive music workshops, relaxed family screening as part of the festival of films, storytelling singalong and jazz for kids. Buggies, babies and budding musicians all welcome!

A place where children and their families can enjoy playing, learning and making up stories together. Enjoy the exhibition "A World Inside a Book: Gruffalos, Dragons and Other Creatures" or enter Story World, the fantastic world of stories. Storytelling sessions during October half term.
Chocolate truffle making workshop: let your children learn how to make their own chocolates. It's fun and delicious! Your children can have fun while learning how to make chocolate lollipops, and truffles, tempering and shaping their chocolates by hand.
KidZania is an indoor city, run by kids! Designed for children aged 4-14, it blends learning and reality with entertainment.
During your 4-hour experience, children can independently choose from a number of real-life activities and test their skills in a variety of professions. Activities range from Doctor, Dentist, and Police Officer to Firefighter, Actor and Dancer.
