You do not need to marry a prince to be able to reside in the UK...

With the looming decision as to what will happen when the UK leaves the EU, many European citizens are considering to apply for permanent residency and ultimately, British citizenship.

In a very informative seminar recently held at our offices, an immigration lawyer from SA Law said that the process for permanent residency is going to become much easier.

Having said that, one hurdle still remains, to pass the Life in the UK test.

FOCUS has gathered a few useful websites and apps that help with the preparation for this test:

Before you take the test, familiarise yourself with the booking requirements.

Try to do at least 6 tests on this website, from our experience the actual test has around 80% of similar style questions from this site.

Another free test website but the test questions are more realistic and they have detailed explanations once you have chosen a wrong answer.

4. Life in the UK app (available on itunes and google)

You can do tests on your mobile phone, great for practising while you are commuting to work, wait for an appointment or killing some time with the kids at the playground...
