Halloween for everyone


21 - 31 October 2017

Enjoy a spook-tacular range of Halloween -themed activities, animal demonstrations and hands-on crafts. Visitors can also enjoy special Halloween versions of the zoo's popular animal talks, feeds and demonstrations. Creative critters can head to the Bat Cave to make mysterious masks or carve out creepy pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch.






28 - 29 October 2017

Meet creepy crawlies in the Wild Fangs cave, enjoy spooky storytelling, and delve into the amazing arts and crafts markets and fabulous food stalls. Come dressed in your best costume and join in the Halloween happenings at the Horniman.

Creepy crafts await at eerie Eltham Palace. Show off your spooktacular costumes and frighten the fearless staff in their costume competition - a perfect day out for the family this Shocktober half term! Have a go at making your own Witch or Wizard Hat to take away. Pumpkin carving sessions available.

27th - 28th October

Celebrate the scariest night of the year in style within our spooktacular nightclub. The gardens will be will be eerily transformed and our BBQ grills will be fired up throughout the evening offering tasty snacks to keep hungry spirits at bay.

Do you dare take part in London’s BIGGEST thrill run?

Afternoon Spooky Run: bring the family together for this spooky Halloween extravaganza!

Evening Scare Run: a moonlit 5km run through the eerie woods of London’s most frightful park. Survivors receive a free slime shot before creeping over to the Trick or Treat party, featuring a live DJ and bar.
