Dreading missing out on the tennis ?

Get your hats out, that time of the year has finally arrived!

Wimbledon is waiting for you, just grab your tickets and you're off....but the reality is it's not all that simple.

Not everyone has been able to secure tickets for the tournament and you didn't have to.

There are plenty of opportunities throughout the city for you to keep your eyes on the ball this week.

If you're longing for a tan but still want to socialise with other tennis fanatics, Strawberries and Screen in the heart of King's Cross is the perfect place to be. There you will find a sea of deck chairs inviting you to relax and enjoy the game and if you get peckish, you can always move over to the bar for tournament themed food and a refreshing Pimms.

If you wish to transport your mind from the business of London for a day but still fear missing out on the anticipation and the suspense of thrilling tie breaker then, Big Screen on the Beach is the place for you. Located in the heart of the trendy area of Camden, the Roundhouse beach is not only a fantastic way to keep up with the tennis but it is also screening many movie classics throughout the summer. You can have a stress free day sipping on a drink from the beach side bar whilst the kids spend the day playing in the sand.

St Katharine Docks in the East of the city is another location where the Wimbledon Championships will be screened. Whether you're busy working in bustling Canary Wharf or just happen to live in the trendy area of the city, there is always time to wind down and watch the tennis on the floating pontoon where there is also an opportunity to buy food and drinks during the finals but otherwise it would be recommendable to bring a picnic to share with your friends an don't forget to bring a bottle of champagne !

This is only a taste of the numerous Wimbledon festivities happening in the city and you will be able to find many more here.
